What is TPR in TPR Teaching?

TPR stands for Total Physical Response. It is a language teaching method developed by James Asher based on the idea that we can learn another language through actions. The theory behind TPR is that our brains can better process and remember information associated with physical movement. It is often used in online teaching, which inspired the name of this website: TPR Teaching.
