Preply conducted a survey where they asked 1,000 individuals about their perceptions of accents to identify which accents are most attractive and the least favored.

10. Long Island

Most Annoying American Accents
The survey also revealed the American accents that drive people crazy. Surprisingly, some of the most attractive accents are also deemed the most annoying.
The Southern and Boston accents tie as the most annoying American accents, and Long Island follows in third place.
Despite ranking as the second most attractive accent, New York is fourth on the list of the most annoying accents.

With an incredibly impressive 45.20 percent of individuals aged 25 and older with a bachelor’s degree, Massachusetts is the clear frontrunner in education compared to West Virginia, which sits 2.1 times lower at 21.80 percent.
